We aren't simply a retailer conducting business in the Augusta, ME; we consider ourselves members of the community, too. As such, we feel compelled to give back to our local community whenever possible, which is why we are actively engaged with many organizations such as Charlie's Subaru is a major contributor to many organizations including the Augusta Food Bank, Kennebec Valley Humane Society, Children's Center of Augusta, Maine General Hospital, Bridging the Gap and hundreds of other organizations.

The Subaru Share the Love® Event is back at Charlie's Subaru!
Now through January 2nd, Subaru will be donating up to $325 from every new vehicle sold to the Augusta Food Bank & the Kennebec Valley Humane Society. Help us share the love and support these two wonderful organizations in our community by stopping by Charlie's Subaru today!

The season of giving is here! Our Giving Tree is up at Charlie's Subaru, filled with tags representing local children's wishes and needs.
Stop by the dealership, take a tag, and help make the holidays brighter by returning your gifts to the Maine Children's Home. Together, we can make a difference for families in our community this holiday season.

Charlie's Subaru Paw-Jama Party
On October 16th, Charlie's Subaru sponsored the first ever Subaru Paw-Jama Pawty!
12 Local women got together for a night of Yoga with kittens, Reflexology, and more. Together, they raised $32,000 for the Kennebec Valley Humane Society!
Charlie's Subaru is proud to help support animals in need.
Pet Supplies Drive
In October, Charlie's Subaru teamed up with local shelters to help pets in need. We collected pet supply donations all month long to support:
- Kennebec Valley Humane Society
- Humane Society of Waterville Area
- P.A.L.S. (Protectors of Animal Life Society)
- Rescue Charlie's Friends
As a thank you, anyone who brought in pet supplies was offered $500 OFF any new Subaru in stock. We are proud to support our furry friends and the amazing shelters that care for them.

At Charlie's Subaru, we're proud to support local programs through Subaru Loves Learning, helping provide school supplies and educational resources that make a real difference for children in our community.

Back to School Supplies Drive
August 1-31st, we hosted our Back to School Supplies Drive!
Every backpack, notebook, and pack of pencils you donate helps ensure children in our community head back to school with the tools they need to succeed.
Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we were able to collect and donate supplies to help local kids and families start the school year off right. Your support makes a difference, and we couldn't do it without you!

We're proud to help the Augusta Food Bank!! 508 cereal boxes in 30 days! Thanks to everyone who made this possible!
We supported our community with a Boxed Cereal Food Drive. Anyone who donated 5 or more boxes of cereal were offered $500 OFF any new Subaru at Charlie's Subaru.

As part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, Charlie's Subaru proudly visited the Alfond Center for Cancer Care to donate blankets and share messages of hope with patients fighting cancer.
Through our partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Subaru of America, we're helping bring warmth, comfort, and compassion to those who need it most.

Food & Funds Drive for the Augusta Food Bank
During May, we hosted our Food & Funds Drive at Charlie's Subaru!
We had the pleasure of welcoming the Augusta Food Bank to the dealership to pick up all of your generous donations. Thanks to our incredible community, we were able to support local families in need and make a real impact right here in central Maine.

The Subaru Share the Love® Event Check Presentation
Charlie's Subaru proudly presented a $30,000 check to our longtime community partner, Kennebec Valley Humane Society, as part of the Subaru Share the Love® Event!
Over the last 17 years, Subaru of America and participating retailers have donated nearly $320 million to charity through this initiative, supporting both national causes and nearly 2,300 hometown charities.
We're incredibly grateful to be part of a program that makes such a meaningful impact-and even more thankful for our customers who help make it all possible.

Outback Donation to Central Maine Community College
We have been fortunate to have Central Maine Community College as a Subaru partner for the past several years. Because of our ongoing efforts with the college, Subaru of New England and Subaru of America, we are excited to announce, Charlie's Subaru was able to secure a 2024 Subaru Outback and donate the vehicle to the Automotive technology department at the college.
The students will have this vehicle in their fleet for many years to come and will be able to implement it into their training curriculum with the hope in developing our future Subaru Technicians.

Operation Warm Coat Donation
Charlie's Subaru is proud to support Operation Warm by dropping off coats to Addie's Attic Clothing Bank a part of Bridging the Gap here in Augusta.
